The action it funds, however, is not a direct assault but a campaign of integration. The money is being spent to weave a company's systems into the core operational software of other, larger entities. The AI agents are not being sold as discrete tools; they are being embedded into the digital circulatory systems of enterprise, commerce, and healthcare. This is a quieter form of expansion, less like a battle and more like grafting a new branch onto an old tree.

The strategy was described as building a "partnership web." The phrase is revealing. A web connects and supports, but it also defines a territory and can ensnare what moves within it. The selected partners, from SAP to Microsoft to Epic Systems, represent the foundational layers where business and medicine are conducted. By integrating with these platforms, the new agents will inherit a measure of the trust humans already place in those older systems. It is amusing to see the martial metaphor of a war chest used to finance the delicate, almost biological work of weaving such a web.
